Transmissible Vaccines
Scalable solutions for animal health
Why Transmissible Vaccines?
Pathogens of wild and domestic animals continually spillover into the human population causing sickness, death, and occasional epidemics and pandemics. Our current approach to this problem is reactive and focused on mitigating the damage caused by spillover rather than preventing it in the first place. Transmissible vaccines offer the first real hope that we could prevent spillover before it occurs by making broad scale vaccination of hard to reach animal populations feasible.
